Health Insurance - full-time staff: Phoenix pays 76% for employee coverage; Employees pay for coverage on
additional dependents. Phoenix offers three options for health insurance with BCBS of NC, a solid base plan, a
mid plan, and a higher coverage plan to accommodate all staff qualified for different coverage options.
Teladoc - staff who enroll in the benefits plan are offered virtual healthcare with Teladoc free of charge.
Dental & Vision Insurance - Phoenix offers a voluntary dental and vision plan, but does not contribute to the cost of
the premium. Employee pays all costs which is very affordable.
Supplemental Insurance Benefits - short-term disability, Long term disability, accident policies, and hospital
indemnity plans are available, and whole-life insurance.
Life Insurance - $30,000 policy for full-time employees at no cost to the employee. Employees also have multiple
voluntary options for life insurance.
Flexible Spending Account - Phoenix offers pre-tax FSA for eligible staff for medical expenses and pharmacy.
Section 125 Plan - pre-tax health savings account offered to all employees.
401(k) Retirement - staff Interested in saving for their future Phoenix offers retirement benefits with Paychex for all
Paid Time Off (PTO) - full-time staff are entitled to earn Paid time off. The accrual rate is determined by the length of
service at Phoenix. PTO is used for vacations, sick days, and holidays not covered by Phoenix.
Emergency Shared Leave Program - donation of PTO bank for staff out of PTO when out sick or out on FMLA.
Paid Holidays - Phoenix offers 12 paid holidays for eligible full-time staff. Staff who work in 24 facilities earn higher
PTO to accommodate working holidays.
Bereavement - PCC provides up to 24 hours of paid bereavement leave for full-time employees and part-time
employees who receive benefits, (30+ hours per week). PTO may also be used for the death of an immediate family member or an individual residing in the same household. Full-time employees and part-time employees who receive benefits are eligible for 8 hours of paid bereavement leave for extended family members.
Staff Referral Bonus - staff receives a $100.00 bonus if they refer an applicant who works longer than 6 months.
Clinical Supervision for Associate/Provisionally Licensed Clinicians - effective January 1, 2016, all PCC employees who are associate/provisionally licensed must receive their licensure supervision via PCC. Clinical supervision for licensure requirements will be provided at no cost to the employee. Should PCC not be able to provide licensure supervision for associate/provisionally licensed staff, these staff may seek supervision from outside sources.
